BUCKET LIST

books

Somewhere along the starts of this year, I decided to write down my own BUCKET LIST. It was my first time to ever do so...

I don't know what got into me.

Here's the list:

And here's the standing so far:

- Travel to an ASIAN country - (x) ...at least not yet!
- Visit 3 local provinces - (x) ...but I've been to Bacolod three times, and Iloilo three times, too, so does that count?? ^_^ No? Okay.
- Learn a musical instrument - (x) ...believe me, I really want to!
- Get braces - (x) ...seems far-fetched! None of my friends or family supports me on this-- they actually strongly believe my crooked teeth looks fine.
- Learn to swim - (x) ...I don't think I ever will. I tried, but I really do not float.
- Watch a sunset - (?) ...I did, once, but I don't wanna count it because I was walking and watching. Not just "watching". Such standards!
- Complete a month of #FMSPhotoADay Challenge -

All hail:

I love July for this! I got to finish a month -- finally! Of course, with a help from my friends, coz I really can't do this by myself. I tend to forget, sometimes intentionally. But I got to finish it this time! I am so happy! ^_^ That's one off my bucket list! (and no plans to do it again...)

And so, for the next months, here are some things that I'm adding to my "to acquire" list:

...may this blog post act as a simple reminder for me to strive to get them all by the end of the year.
- Angeology (I strongly believe I have Nephilim blood! ^_^)
- Love Story (I know I've read this, but I already forgot how beautiful it was!)
- BookmarkSlashDictionary (because I have to.)
- The Book of Love (because I want to.)
- Clutch Bible --the priciest of them all (but because I NEED to!)

...anyway I still have 5 months to completely tick off everything in my list.

May the odds be ever in my favor :)

P.S.
I didn't write more.
My penmanship's still ugly.
(But only because it can't keep up with my uber fast thinking kuno.)

WHAT??!

Is it really July 31st?... That's almost 7 months ago from when I last posted?!

I guess my "Compulsive Selective Participation Syndrome" was at it again. In local tongue, they call it katamaran. What a strange condition I have...

^_^

Seriously though, it can't be 7 months ago already?

To make myself believe, I went through my iPhoto and looked back, and it dawned on me... half of the year really has gone by.

Here are some happenings:

JANUARY

- the church leaders had a seminar in Bacolod and I tagged along --with my baby boyfriend, Zif! This is him in the photo. It's my first time to ride a plane with him, and first time to fly PAL as well. Not a bad experience, save for that Korean man who pushed me on the crowded aisle just to get ahead to his seat, as if it's a first-come, first-served basis.

My aunt and uncle from Ontario also came to visit Manila and gave us iPhones. Yep, iPhoneS. 4 in total, and I am using the 4S now (purple--mind you!), but the two other iPhone 5 and one iPhone 4S are still locked. So, we're still looking for a fix for that.

FEBRUARY

My little sis had her JS Prom. I am trying hard not to recall what transpired on MY JS Prom.

And:

Yes, the prodigal returned! I really wanted to get back working and fortunately, a day-shift, e-mail support, pioneer account opened in TELUS! And it was the best account :)

And I met the best people, too. I got to attend the best company events, the Quarterly Rec Event in Enchanted Kingdom, and the Day of Giving in Tondo.

APRIL

On the last week, we went to Bacolod for the Annual General Conference, marking my third time in Bacolod for this year alone.

MAY

On the 14th, another baby has made its way to our little family...

Meet Andrea Blanche.

cutie-patootie

Just about 4 days after she was born, her father (my youngest brother) and I along with our cousin Czareen went to a mini-vacation in our favorite province (not by choice!) Guimaras!

...captivating as usual.

JUNE

Well, the fun part's over. I had been sick and underwent surgery.

On June 9th, both my tonsils were removed and so I went under general anesthesia. I blame the G.A. for my memory loss, but I wasn't really very sharp in remembering details pre-surgery. But at least now I got something to put the blame on :). Tonsillectomy. I would never do that again. (Like I can?)

JULY

So there goes more than half of this year. In January, I spent my birthday at home. Met my walking buddies, along with our glorified pedometers in February. Made it to a special person's birthday by plane in March. Managed to get to get to work every day of April. Had a great time in Bacolod and Iloilo in May. Endured the pain and agony of not being able to eat properly for the whole month of June. And lasted the whole of July with just two servings of rice, one of which was really just by accident!

Just a month away and it's the BER months already! And then the year's gonna be over again. Time flies so freakin' fast, don'it?

But for now, I'm just gonna delight that I'm here! Today.

sans the tonsils.
